Code of Conduct
Kalman | Commons⁺ works because every member agrees to the same simple code. It keeps introductions honest, the community civil, and the whole network worth being part of.
How we deal with each other
The network is for relevant, welcome introductions, not mass outreach or unsolicited blasts.
Members qualify and respect one another. Pressure tactics have no place here.
Represent your role, authority, and capability truthfully. Trust is the network's whole value.
Members are civil professionals. Good-faith collaboration is the assumed experience.
Membership standards
Membership is limited to adults aged 25+, with age verification.
We prioritise members who can recommend, decide, or hold budget, and ask everyone to state their authority honestly.
Member data is never resold. Introductions are made on relevance, not on selling your details.
Where members gather in person, gatherings are alcohol-free.
The network is open across sectors, functions, and nations; civility is the only entry tax.
Members act within the law of their jurisdiction in all dealings through the network.
Culture & law
Beyond introductions, members share an inclusive culture: honest dialogue, the arts, and, where lawful, adult-only, and entirely optional, the occasional fellowship of a fine cigar. It is never required and never the point.
Kalman | Commons⁺ does not sell, supply, advertise, or promote tobacco. Any optional cigar appreciation is lawful, adult-only (25+), venue-approved, and handled directly by independently licensed retailers based only on dereferenced, aggregate interest, never a marketed product. Smoking is harmful to health. This code is a community standard, not legal advice.
Concerns
If a communication, introduction, privacy matter, or conduct issue needs review, it can be raised in good faith and will be handled respectfully and, where relevant, through the appropriate authorised channel. Members who breach the code may be removed from the network.
